Unity that brings comfort

Hello beautiful Love’s Pure Light family and fashionistas!

I apologize for the long wait for an update on a newsletter, but I have to confess it has been a transitional season for me in many ways. Clearing out the old from the inside out, letting go and making room for the new to come and behold more of true beauty through our fashion brand and scarf ministry.

The wonderful thing today I want to share with you is that I am writing to you this week from Jerusalem, Israel! I have been silent about it all year, but I have been preparing all year to head here - not just play my harp with my team… but also Love’s Pure Light Forever has designed a beautiful collection of prayer shawls and special garments for the Kings Harpist Global harp team! There are currently 144 harpist here, we have numerous concerts throughout the land in the middle east. We are here to bring great comfort to the people with music, sound and heart-first fashion!

We have partnered with a dear friend Kate Hess who is the founder of Jerusalem Children's Fund- and all of the proceeds from our pieces we will share will be sown back to purchase harps for all children here in the middle east so that every family may have a harp to play music together in times of war.  Music is a beautiful thing we can learn and share. Our desire is that families would have harps to play and sing during these very real and challenging times.

We are all gathered here now from every nation of the world to play as one on our harps. Releasing the new song and sound from the middle east into each and every nation. Sounds wild, right? Sometimes I pinch myself to ask if I am human - I am still a beginner harpist, but when we come together in unity and play- something beautiful pours out I cannot describe in words, but soon I will share some sounds. We still have five more concerts in the coming weeks- I will share lots of pictures through our social media also!

I know this seems heavy with what you may see on the news back in Canada, but as I prepared all year for this, I know God is with me. It is very peaceful here and the people welcome our love greatly. To be here on the land bringing comfort and my love from Canada to so many people here is very precious. I have met with many  young soldiers male and female, all under the age of twenty and just hugged them with tears. Just being here for 15 days already reminds me of my purpose. We all have a purpose once we truly know our true identity. Yes, we were made to LOVE. The way we express it is different. We must celebrate with one another. 

Please expect to hear more in writing but also in visual sound and global fashions that will inspire, encourage and bring you hope in the coming weeks.  

 You will notice my team has switched up our website and even re-branded our site to be Love’s Pure Light FOREVER. 

This new season we want to demonstrate a true spirit of honor and unity.

One truth I know for sure is that we must always be true to ourselves. The world will always try to dilute down your message, and as I have noticed - even silence our voices especially as women. For me my faith is a big part of my life. My trust and faith in God above is why I am where I am, and able to do what I can do. It is his supernatural strength and gift inside of me, I want to honor, and share through this website the true demonstration of who I am and why I created Love’s Pure Light.  I want to inspire you with the true beauty and light that lives within you through each and every FOREVER piece I will be sharing. My life has not been easy with many battles. But the truth is God has always been faithful and never let me down.  I hope through my creative pieces I can only inspire and bring hope to your life through my art and designs. 

Our worlds can be heavy with lots of pain, and the things we are seeing lately can make us lose hope easily. But the truth is what you surround yourself with helps you make the righteous gains in life. So I want to encourage you with how you surround yourself - and guard your gates! (eyes, ears, mouth) Sometimes when I get overwhelmed with seeing, or knowing too much - I pull away and press into the promises that God has shown me. Have you ever journaled? It is a beautiful thing we can do, even to go back and read our journals and see how faithful God has never let us down. 

So today my message to you is very simple: what is one thing you need to let go of from the past seasons preventing you from entering into the new?

Is there a FEAR that is blocking your way? (false evidence appearing real?) I have found sometimes I write down little fears I have had that in the end I realise are not fears at all!

What changes do you need to make to step closer to your dreams? People, patterns, what you're watching or listening to? 

What is one piece of advice you can share with everyone who may read this? Do you have a phrase or paragraph that you could share to bless others? Just like we are bringing such comfort to the people here in the middle east, sharing with one another our real battles helps bring comfort to know we are not alone.
